Hi! Long time no see.
I hadn't written any articles recently. Because I focused all my efforts into TOEIC test which I took yesterday.
I have been taking this test periodically to see how much I have improved my English.
By the way, there are many books for teaching us how to get a good result technically in the test. I used to be dismissive of that. If I took a good score in that way, it wouldn't reflect my real ability.
However, I have changed my mind.
It would be possible to take better score than the one we took last time. But as long as we don't improve our English skill itself, we wouldn't proceed to the next step.
And in these days, many people learn the techniques, so I thought the result that I take after learn the technique would reflect to my real skill.
I guess some people disagree with the thinking. How about you?

My co-workers and I secretly call our boss "麻呂(Maro)".
In Heian period, twelfth century, previous lord Heike lost a battle against Genji. Gengi was known as simple and sturdy Samurai, on the other hand, Heike was a symbol of corrupted nobles and they called themselves Maro.

When my boss and I were talking about a job, I needed to show some books for him. The books were on the top shelf where I couldn't reach. While I brought a ladder and took those books he didn't help me but just looked at me. So I had to go down the ladder with those books in my hand!
I usually don't mind about this kind of things. He would work efficiently, because little things wouldn't bother him.
However, in this case I was disappointed in his obtuseness.
Does he make his wife treat him like a noble?
I'm glad that my husband is a common man.

It was a beautiful sunny day the day before yesterday, and I kept windows open in my house.
There are many children in my neighborhood and they usually get together to play with. Their laughter and talking voice are sometimes noisy but usually amuse me.

Yesterday, a girl began a conversation. "Who are you going to marry?" Some girls replied, "I'm going to marry ○○-kun". As soon as a girl said, "I'm going to marry kazu-kun", the questioner cried, "What!" She was very upset and kept shouting. "Why, Misaki-chan? Why are you going to marry Kazu-kun?!"
Misaki-chan nervously replied, "I.. I think that Kazu-kun is gentle..."
Then the girl who was very upset asked to Kazu-kun, "Are you going to marry Misaki-chan or me?"
The boy mumbled, "I don't know..."
At last, Misaki-chan burst into tears.
Oh, boy. You should have decided who you are going to marry. Determination is important as a man.

Haha, children are funny.

As I wrote before, I'm motivated in seeing DVDs. However, my DVD player attached to my PC broke down and my motivation broke down too!
It happened four times in the past ten years that my audio device broke, two video players, a DVD player and again this time's DVD player!
When I put a DVD into the player, the device tries to load it, but fail.
So I tried to connect to another DVD player attached to my husband's PC. I could reach to his player from my PC but the DVD didn't load. May be, something like a playback function broke.
I would have to use his PC when he isn't at home until I afford this unplanned expense.

I've just finished watching an American sit-com Friends last weekend.
How may month I had spent to watch them? I can't remember, but it could be at least two years!
There were about 240 stories and I watched each of story at least twice because I aimed to watch them to improve my English. Although, I watch them a lot, I'm not tired of that at all.
I'd like to meet them someday again. Good bye, until we meet again.

By the way, I look for something interesting dramas that I'll see next.
I've ordered to rent two DVDs, The White House and Lost.
